The mixture is similar to that of salami, but the shape is different. This cured meat is encased in a wider pork gut and contains a generous amount of Voghiera garlic, but “Ciupeta”, the typical Ferrara bread, and a nice glass of our “Fortana Frizzante” sparkling wine soften its taste, creating a pleasant, mellow palate.
